Went in to get my oil changed and we saw this. 28k original miles, local dealership sticker indicating it’s probably a local car, meaning I’d bet it was stored during winters. It is near mint for the year. Just a few chips on the side and minor scraping on the front plate cover, but nothing else otherwise. I’d probably be able to find one a bit more used/cheaper otherwise, and have been looking aat rwd/manual cars in this range for the last 6 months or s so but priorities have changed and Mrs. understeerenthusiast a nd I are looking for a house right now. Maybe next year.....

Price seems maybe a bit high but not far off for a good c5z in this condition.

Damn I’m shopping for a daily right now and that’s a little bit of a reach but doable.

I wonder how they are in the snow.

Shouldn’t be too terrible in the snow.  I had a first gen CTSv and I wintered it a few years, not great, but not awful.  Winter tires are a must.  This would be better due to the better weight balance.  But worse for low ground clearance, but I’d daily it.

Funny enough, that’s what it used to be. Then my abs failed on my old car (a cobalt), locking the fronts without letting go and sent me off an on-ramp into a sign, hence my name now. Since I own a FoST, it still makes sense lol

Everything is amazing in the snow with a set of Nokian Haka R2's

That price still seems a bit on the high side to me. I’d lowball them and offer $18 k.

As someone who has the C5Z on top of my “obtainable dream car” list, I’d honestly be fine paying this.
